I realized what is wrong with me, and what is wrong with most of the adults in our world. We have no dreams, no ambitions, and no excitement! When we were children and even though high school many of us had this and some had lost it at even an earlier age.
Imagine being able to have that back, making our lives a wondrous story. We would fill all our dreams so fast and so easily. Dream big and don't let the other things bring you down. There is no reason to get down over the things in our life, make these things exciting and turn all your work into play.
They say you can do anything you can put your mind to, which is 100% true, however they don't tell you how to deal with the things that step in the way. You will always have these things slowing you down, however, don't get discouraged, and keeping moving on. You will one day find yourself where you want to be.
Get out, get excited, and make things happen. You deserve all your dreams, make it happen.

Come Play Dagorhir With the Realm of Barad'Dun

Come play the exciting game of Dagorhir with us!
Dagorhir is medieval combat reenactment that both incorporates fantasy and a full contact sport. Its been a great way in my life to meet amazing people and get out and be active. I started playing in Pennsyvania and when I moved to Las Vegas I had found a wonderful group of people here. I have been playing this sport for over two years now and Dagorhir is growing. It is a national sport and there are tons of realms and units from the east to the west.
This is not LARPing(live action role playing) or a fake-play reenactment, we create safe padded weapons and make the game as real as it gets. You can be who ever you want to be as long as it follows the rules and standards, but when it really comes down to it, it's about the people and the fight. You can be have whatever story you like or no story at all. Dress how you want in a medieval period like fashion. You don't have to dress up at our practice to come, please come even if you have no equipment, there are many to share.
So I'm gonna help you get started out if this sort of thing might interest you. You have to be at least 16 years old to play. Everyone has to sign a waiver and if your under 18 you must have your waiver notarized and signed by a legal guardian. But this is no big deal. It does't matter how old you are, we have people 30+ and in many other realms there are people who have been playing since the start of Dagorhir in 1977. Even if you would not want to play, your children might be interested in playing. We have about 30+ people who show up for practice, however, we have been wanting to share our love for this sport to the community.
We hold our practices at Desert Breeze park every Saturday at noon. Located over between the Dog parks and Durango.

I hope to see you all!!!
Come and play Dagorhir!!!

There Is
My whole life has felt like a story.
Although My life has been kind of in a dormant state, I am slowly growing back into my beautiful life.
So many memories and so many people who were once in my life. They bring soft thoughts to my mind. Whether they have abandoned me or still play a small part in my life I still appreciate the parts you played in my life and I hope that I made some sort of impact in your life.
I miss you all.
All the times we used to have and how we all felt at the time, or at least I felt. Life was once a never-ending dream. Somewhere along the path, I became bitter and grew up. I rarely regret things I've done in my life, however I deeply regret letting so many of these things go.
These times mean the world to me when I can stand to think of them. I truly apologize to all those that I hurt, let down, or let go of. I was Lost and some of you knew this. I was a Lost cause in your life. However when I came back around at times, I had changed and a couple of you were not clear enough to see this. Somewhere along the path you all had changed, and so did we all. If somehow find me again along our paths, I'll be waiting, and you will always be important to me.
I hope that you find happiness through out your lives.
The truth is, you are just like me.

Looking for Work
I just moved to Vegas about two months ago due to unpreventable events that led me here. I got a General Entry Discharge from the Navy due to medical reasons. So here I am, instead of going back home where I had no opportunities, I came to Vegas.
Soon to find out that even after two months of looking, I still haven't found a job. With the Economy like it is, it even hard to find a job in the city. I have little work experience or education. I washed dishes years ago at a resteraunt and the work I did in the Navy. I Have a high school diploma, a Vo-Tech Certificate for culinary arts, and I am currently working on my degree in Information Technology/Computer Networking. I have two to three years of independent experience working on and fixing computers.
I have put in so many applications and made so many call backs and still nothing. I have tried almost everywhere within an hours walking distance. There is the other problem, I don't have my own transportation and I only have a permit.
But here is the deal. I can't live in my mother-in-laws house forever, I need to get out of here, so I can take care of my own self. I am willing to do any kind of work and do anything for the work. I just am running out of options and I need this next step to accomplishing my goals and fulfilling my dreams.
So if any of you Las Vegasians have any ideas or opportunities up your sleeves, let me know. I would be so grateful for your help.
Thank You
